Whatever you have and whatever comes to you is from Allah. It is difficult to understand it. You buy bread from the baker who made it. Allah sent down rains then the crops grew. That’s how it happened. We must know that all the good things come from Allah. The rains he sent down make cotton which grows on earth and we make fabrics with it and our clothes as well. That’s the way it happens. Whenever we eat or drink we should thank Allah for it since it comes from Him. When we are ill or something bad afflicts us, we turn to Allah and pray to Him so that He helps us. If someone offers you money or a house, it comes in fact from Allah. You must understand this. He made other people as means for giving it. If you know that whatever is given to you is from Allah, then you will love Allah. If you don’t care you will be like Abu Jaheel (one of the unbelievers in time of the Prophet of İslam). The Qur’an says;
“Allah shall admit those who have believed and done good works into Gardens beneath which rivers flow;...” Chpt.47 ‘Muhammad’, Verse12
Gaining faith is not easy. Mind it. Good deeds such as salat (prayer) and hajj (pilgrimage) and sawm (fasting)…. If you have strong faith it won’t be difficult for you to worship and do good deeds. You practise all kind of sports, you make great physical efforts, but you don’t pray five times a day. That’s because you lack of faith; your faith is weak. Oh Lord! We turn to you protect us from the lack of faith. Faith is a great thing;you can’t escape from Hell without it; you can’t enter Heaven without it. ¼ of our body is water, ¼ is air, ¼ is fire, and ¼ is earth. River water is a great bounty. It is a rescue to reach it. We must refresh our faith not only simply by uttering the canonic words of faith (shadah) (i.e. just saying that ‘there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger’) but also we must reflect upon it thoroughly. We must refresh our faith so that we don't hear the whisper of our egoes (nafs). The whisper of the ego locks up your heart. That is its unique purpose. Here is a hadith (saying) from the Messenger of Allah;
Refresh your faith through repeating the words;
“Allah shall admit those who have believed and done good works into Gardens beneath which rivers flow;...” Chpt.47 ‘Muhammad’, Verse12

Refresh your faith through repeating the words;
la ilahe illallah
which means there is no god but Allah. Everything depends on faith. The Qur’an says;
“Allah has purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the Garden of (Paradise). They fight in His Cause, and slay and are slain; a promise binding on Him in Truth through the Law(Torah), the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is more faithful to his promise than Allah? Rejoice then in the bargain you have made with him. That is the supreme triumph.” Chpt.9 ‘At Tawba- The Repentance’, Verse111
Allah has bought from the believers their lives and goods in return for Paradise. Our existence does not belong to us since we have sold it to Allah. A man has a beard on his face, he can’t cut it since his face does not belong to him, it belongs to Allah. If you sell your field with the crops on it to somebody and then you enter the field and harvest – do you have any right to do it? No, because it does not belong to you anymore. May Allah protect us. Islam is fading away. The kuffar (disbelievers); were it be from the English, the french, the Greek, they all attack Islam. If you sold your nafs to Allah you shouldn't follow kuffar fashions anymore. You have no right to do this. You must ask Allah; what should I wear? What should I put on? Nowadays shoe heels are getting higher and higher. Whoever wears shoes with higher heels has lower faith. Are you wearing those shoes in order not to get in mud? No, you wear them in order to follow the kufr(disbelief). You will have whatever you want in Paradise but don’t do it here. Whoever is destined to die should consider himself already as an elderly person (one foot in the grave). Women should be pretty only for their husbands so that those don’t go after other women. Azrael (the Angel of Death) is waiting for us, he may come any time and take away our soul. Allah is Hakeem (the most is Wise). Whatever He does He is right. If He gives life He is right; if He takes it away He is still right.
“But those who believe and do good works, theirs will be gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the greatest triumph. Surely the punishment of your Lord is severe. He it is who originates and brings back to life. He is Forgiving, the Loving.” Chpt.85 ‘The Constellations-Al Buruj’,Verses11-14
The related fact explaining this verse is as follows;
“We were surrounded buy enemies and decided to fight (jihad). One of us recited those verses. A young man stood up and said: ‘Hear this. I have inherited some properties from my father and I will spend them in this way.’ He did what he said. He spent everything on preparations for the fight. He helped others financially. While he was asleep someone approached him and took him to the Paradise. There were rivers flowing, beautiful girls all around; rivers of water and rivers of milk. Beautiful women came up to him and told him they were his servants. Then he reached a river of wine (unharmful, tasty wine) and again around him there were beautiful women saying they were his servants. Then he reached a river of honey and met beautiful women again. A little further on there was a tent and inside it there was a beautiful fresh young woman who said: ‘Not yet. You still have some days to spend on earth but come tonight to break fast together.’ He woke up. He fought and killed eight more from kuffar (disbelievers) and was then killed, in the evening he became shaheed (a martyr in the way of Allah).”

The women will be very beautiful in the Paradise because of their worshipping performed on earth. Whenever you repent and ask forgiveness from Allah, it will be granted to you. Our life is so very short; it is just one minute. It will be gone very soon. We should be very careful. Don’t wear high heels; the higher are the heels the lower is your faith. The Qur’an is inscribed in a tablet preserved (lavhe-mahfuz).
Three hadith from (Abu Huraira):
• “Angel Gabrial (Jebreel) came to the Messenger of Allah and said: “Oh! Mohammad, Hadija (the prophet’s first wife) is coming to you with gifts and our Lord liked it so much that He sent me to you to say selam(peace) to her from her Lord and from me and tell her good news of the Paradise and a house of pearls where there is no shouting or any noise.”
Never look down on any present. When you meet a Muslim show him a smiling face. We should give presents frequently; we should treat each other in a nice way. Angel Jebreel descended from the Throne, from so far away, just to mention the good news awaiting us in return for treating others well .
Two more hadith;
• Man is surrounded by fire up to his hips. If I had not been given the permission for intercession, he would be in the depths of Hell.
• It was the Night of Bera’at (A blessed night), The Messenger of Allah woke up, stood in prayer for a long time and prayed and cried a lot that night. The place where he prostrated was all wet. He said: ‘Tonight Allah will forgive as many people as there are hairs on a camel.’
There is also a verse relating to that Night:
“We sent it down in a blessed night, for we are ever warning. In that night every affair of wisdom is made distinct. As a command from our Presence, for We (ever) sent (revelations). As a Mercy from your Lord. For he hears and knows (all things).” Chpt.44 ‘The Smoke -Ad Dukhan’, Verses 3-6
Knowledge, good deeds and sincerity, these three things should be together. The companions of the Messenger of Allah were so keen on worshipping that while travelling, as soon they would stop somewhere, they would dismount and start praying (superogatory prayers). They used to search out for spare times to worship and do more and more dhikr (remembrance of Allah).
As for us, we wasted our time in keep chatting.
